"My biggest challenge is money. Money to buy food and other household needs. We don't have food because of how farming goes in our area. We are in a rain shadow zone where farming doesn't field anything. This has made my husband leave for Mozambique in search of greener pastures."

"My husband and I don't have a house of our own. We were living in his father's house along with our two grandchildren, but we decided to move out due to some reasons. Currently, my husband and I don't have a house of our own, we are taking care of one of our Church members house. Now that we're receiving this kind of aid from Give Direct, we have decided to use the cash to build a decent house where we can live with our grandchildren. It will be a good thing to have a house of our own after ever so long, and I'm happy that Give Direct is giving us the money to do so."

"The challenges I am facing is lack of money to take care of my household. I farm, but the weather is not conducive so it's either we harvest less or nothing because of floods or rains stopping early. We harvested 6 bags and are currently portioning since we don't have money to buy more."
