Dama
received a $25 tenth payment.
"The current heavy rains present both a blessing and a curse to me. After a prolonged period, I am finally filled with optimism as the unending rain promises a bumper harvest. However, the downside is that the rain is gradually eroding the mud walls of my house, weakening the poles and creating substantial openings that allow cold air and water to enter. To ensure my safety and prevent the collapse of my house due to the rain's impact, I aim to acquire two bags of cement. By utilizing them to repair and enhance the condition of my dwelling, I can establish a sense of security and eliminate the threat posed by the rain."

Dama
received a fourteenth payment.
"I hope and pray for the rains to persist, resulting in a bountiful harvest. This would enable me to utilize my monthly stipends for purchasing building materials to construct a new house. Currently, my two-roomed house is insufficient in size to accommodate all the members of my family. Alongside my husband, I live with two children and five grandchildren. The limited space is inadequate for accommodating all of us, as well as our utensils and other household belongings. Constructing a new house will provide us with more room and space, allowing our large family to live comfortably and freely together."

Mwenda
received a $25 tenth payment.
"My goal for this year and the future is to save sufficient funds from my subsequent transfers. I intend to utilize these savings to cover the school fees for my two children. Although my youngest child finished her secondary education last year, financial constraints prevent me from immediately supporting her college enrollment. Witnessing my children pursue their desired career paths brings me immense satisfaction, and I aim to strive towards that by utilizing the resources obtained from these transfers."

"We are planing to construct a house since the one we are currently living in is falling apart. We have a floor that needs to be reconstructed. This will ensure we have a safe place to live in together with my family. Having a better house has been my dream and at this point I feel its coming to pass. We are also hopeful that we still manage paying school fees for our children. This has also been a struggle but with the transfers we have being able to meet the school requirements.
In addition to all this, I will add about Five goats to help us generate income. Keeping them in large scale."

Florence
received a $144 initial payment.
"The biggest in my daily life after receiving the first transfer was the availability of adequate food. This included the newfound ability to purchase a goat and immediately slaughter it, a decision that greatly aided in my postpartum recovery and facilitated breastfeeding. Prior to the transfer, food scarcity was a constant concern, but with the support from GiveDirectly, I could ensure that my nutritional needs were met. The provision of enough food, along with the goat's meat, made a substantial difference in my overall well-being and contributed to a healthier and more nourishing environment for myself and my newborn."

Rhoda
received a $130 initial payment.
"Receiving the first payment from GiveDirectly was an incredible moment filled with gratitude towards God for fulfilling the promise through their support. It arrived a bit earlier than anticipated, as I had expected it on the 15th. Around 2:00 p.m., a message arrived, and although I was with my husband and children, I wanted to confirm the source before sharing the news with them. The name Segovia Technology remained clear in my mind, and I couldn't resist to further check the balance. Excitement filled the air, and even my four children and husband were thrilled. Despite having our plans carefully laid out, we decided not to rush the collection but waited until the following day to begin purchasing the materials that were of utmost importance to us."

Baraka
received a $25 fourteenth payment.
"My ultimate goal as a husband and father is to provide my wife and daughter with a better quality of life where necessities such as food, housing, and clothing are not a concern. Currently, my focus is on relocating from my paternal compound and acquiring a piece of land. This would allow me to build a decent home for my family. I believe that living separately from my extended family would help avoid conflicts and encourage personal growth and development."
