Rehema
received a $27 sixth payment.
"I wish to have started rearing chickens by the end of this year. Since I lack a source of income, and given that am a housewife, livestock keeping is the surest way I could raise funds to support my children’s needs. Besides, having this alternative income stream would relieve my husband of the pressure that he undergoes to provide for us. "

Lydia
received a $428 initial payment.
"The most significant difference in my daily life is that I now own a piece of land, which seemed impossible due to financial constraints. This would imply that we would be able to cultivate a larger portion of land and thus produce more. Second, we paid our son's school fees for two terms, which was a huge relief to us. We are extremely grateful for the help that has brought us so much joy."

Ghasia
received a $27 fourteenth payment.
"My main goal in the next one year and beyond is to see my children go to school without being sent home for school fees. Getting money to settle their school fees had been one great challenge owing to the fact that my husband and I no longer have any reliable income. I would ensure that I achieve this by majorly spending the transfers that I would be getting on paying their school fees believing that one day they would land better jobs in the future and support me as well."

Kabao
received a $27 tenth payment.
"I previously owned a green grocery store, but due to the prolonged drought in the area, I had nothing to sell and therefore I had to close down the business. My goal is to revive the business because I have reached a fixed point of not being to be in a better position to fully support my family. I would want to save part of my transfers and add to the little amount of money I would be getting from my hassles to help me achieve my goals."

Furaha
received a $27 tenth payment.
"I have mentioned that I was able to Join a savings group and I am saving money in the saving group as well as on my own. I learnt how to sow clothes but I do not have a machine of my own to turn this skill into a business so I am saving so I can buy a machine. My husband is also employed as a motorcycle rider which sometimes is a hard task since he does not always get business which ends up eating into his pocket as he needs to pay his employer. So we are saving so we can afford to buy a motorcycle of our own so he can be self employed which will ease our financial state."
