Many thanks to givedirectly for their support to was my family and l. I was able to buy three bundles of zinc that cost 240 usd. I also bought enough food for my family. Lastly I paid the people to saw my planks.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village. Givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. There are so many New houses with in my village that I am proud of today. Givedirectly need to give the next village money as well to empower them as well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Thanks for that, in the coming years I want to see myself in a new house that I will build with givedirectly money. I also when to see my children out of school that time, because right now with the support from givedirectly my children are in school.

"My family doesn't own a house which have caused us to scattered into a single room. Building a house had been my priority, but I could not afford it due to my lack of finance. Our major challenge now is the means of getting money to fit in with my family needs.
Many days my family does not get any food to eat because of lack of money. We also don't have money to put our daughter in school when she reaches the age. Further more, the house we live is small and it's an outside room which is not safe, I don't have money to build a decent house, big enough to maintain my family and me.

With all these things challenges mentioned, there has been nothing over the past six month that has brought happiness in my life
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Presently, the house my family and I live is small and it's an outside room, which is not safe for us.
Moreover my little daughter is approaching the age of starting school and I don't have money to send her to school.
When I am successful and received the transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use the money to build my family and I a decent house, establish my own business, and make a bigger farm that I can raise money from for all of my family's responsibilities including sending my daughter to a good school.
