Leonard
received a $444 initial payment.
"I work at a barber shop on the market day and other days I'm working on my farm. I'm married with two children. Upon receipt of my transfer, I spent $280 on buying a dairy cow to cut the costs of buying milk that was expensive. We use about 2 litres a day and it sells at $1. Previously, I couldn't afford to buy milk because I don't have a stable income. I spent an additional $80 on the purchase of seats that I didn't have and the remaining amount I spent on the purchase of food and clothes. To own a dairy cow is the best thing that's happened to me and I'm grateful for the cash gift that's made me achieve a lot of significance."

"The fact that I no longer buy milk is so satisfying. This has made me and my family very happy. I look forward to having more milk produce once the cow has its second calf. Right now the amount of milk produced is just enough to feed my family."

"I am currently facing a problem of sickness which hasn't enabled me to work as I used to work some time back which has brought about scarcity of food in the family. I also face a problem of lack of school fees and uniforms for my grand children to attend school regularly and perform well in class."

"I currently face a challenge of landslide which has always affected our gardens and houses something that let us have suffer by having poor harvests leading hunger in the home. I also with my people some times sleep badly as a result of water penetrating into our house when it rains.
Transport becomes a problem when harvesting period reaches because we just carry produce on the heads which affects our health yet in most cases we are un able to arrive at required treatment."
